Monkeys and Brownies

I think of 2 elder women with this.
The first my now deceased mother: these inexpensive monkeys were a gift from me. She really enjoyed them. I have them now and because of this history I do too.
The second: Rosemary, Sam's mother. She gave me this Brownie badge when I had lamented I no longer had my badge. So although not my original clip,it too holds warm memories.

The weather is turning. I'm wearing more clothes, windows and doors are closed more often, a light blanket some nights. Socks and slippers have returned.
