Purple Crocus and Bumblebee

Today it is raining and quite cold, but I ventured outside to see what flowers I could find to blip. Yesterday when the sun shone all the crocus flowers were open; today most of them are closed.

I decided on this one, because there is a Bumblebee sheltering from the rain in the crocus flower. I gently poked at it and the bee was alive so it may well have been sheltering from the rain and cold. At this time of the year it is probably a Queen bee which has hibernated during the winter and is now preparing for the season.
