Roger has had cancer for 5 years. He's been in hospital in Southampton for a few weeks and is now home because there is no more the doctors can do.

I often walk the dogs with Roger's wife, Jo, but, today, Roger wanted to walk them. It was an eye opener because he can see the joy and beauty in everything so my walk had a new feeling to it.

We met 8 month old Walter. He is huge and he likes me. I almost get hugged when he puts his front legs up on my shoulders. Absolutely gorgeous animal. 

Home to spend the rest of the day in the cutting where Tim made a new path.
