Wacky Hair

43, 000 hairdressers reopened their doors today in England after this current lockdown.
I’ve not bothered to book an appointment yet.
Happy to wait until things settle down.

Had my friends round for ‘tea in the garden’.
Was worried it would be snowing but it’s turned into a lovely day.
Made an onion, tomato and olive galette.
Smashed roast baby potatoes with pea shoots and herb dressing .
Carrots glazed in honey with feta, hazelnuts and herbs.
Went down a treat and we all enjoyed the hazelnut meringue cake with raspberries, cream and coulis.
First  entertainment cooking l’ve done for nearly a year , l so enjoyed it and the lovely company.
We did need the blankets and hot water bottles but managed to sit outside until 8.30pm.
