Wood Anenome, along with Lesser Celandine, is the dominant flower of the woodland floor at the moment although the first Bluebell are emerging and the Wild Garlic will not be far behind.

Sleeping quietly in the background, a pair of Mallard, this also being the time of year where you stumble across pairs secreted away in all sorts of seemingly isolated spots.
