Berberis In Bud

The Man couldn't understand how I could pop into the garden for a few minutes and come back in saying I'd taken 104 photos of some little buds a couple of millimetres across.

Well, I did have the camera on burst. That was because my 105mm macro lens isn't accurate on autofocus and my eyes aren't accurate on manual, hence I don't even trust the diopter adjustment is set accurately.

I just took a lot of shots at f2.8 knowing one of the shots would have what I wanted. Getting fed up with this hitty-missy technique I got out the tripod and took a couple of sets of stacks but ended up using an earlier shot.
