Max helps grandpa eat his lunch

A beautiful day here today and we had a good visit with the boys.  They wanted to be held a bit more than usual, which is fine by me.  

Yesterday I had lunch with my friend who had the surgery recently.  She is doing much better, but still is having trouble walking up even a curb.  They say these things take a long time, so I'm hoping for her.  

Tonight is dinner with friends to celebrate two birthdays  - our friend and his son share the same day.  It was nice to be invited since they have all quarantined so carefully for so long. The vaccine has made quite the difference.
