Glacier Bridge ....

... a fragile feature in the Allalinhorn glacier above Saas Fee.  As the glaciers retreat worldwide due to global warming, it is so sad, and difficult to imagine scenes like in the extras, might not exist at the end of this century. I feel guilty when I travel and think about many travels of the past. Is it now time to retreat to the mountains of the mind? Oh, I am being maudlin having had a wonderful high mountain time with dear friends. It was great to be completely on holiday for a couple of days.
