Hitch in the pattern

The pattern in this instance is the side view of the pages of my closed book. The hitch is a distortion created by a glass of water. The inspiration for today's abstract is at the suggestion of challenge host - thank you, Ingeborg.

Took a number of photos today, mainly cloudscapes, but thought it was time I had a go at a challenge for once in a while. Sunny, but with a chilly wind again today. Baked a banana loaf that will be cut tomorrow.
