Parrot Tulip Bud

We arrived home yesterday late in the afternoon.  I had done an all-nighter with the baby, getting only a couple of hours of sleep so I slept most of the way home and was in bed early and slept later than usual this morning.  That tiny little bit of 8 pounds really wore me out.  We are looking forward to them coming here for a week in May.

I just loved this flower bud with its beautiful texture and lines.  I thought it would be good for Flower Friday, especially since I have been quite a slacker with that challenge lately.
