Ghost Town

Today is the 40th anniversary of my father's death.  We went to Arlington Cemetery to visit his grave.  The cemetery is closed to the public, but will still allow family members access, although we had to go through two checkpoints and were given an additional COVID 19 pass that outlined new rules, in addition to our regular pass,  Essentially we were instructed to visit our loved one's grave, but not visit any other sites in the cemetery, although there was no one to enforce it.  Except for the groundskeepers, we were the only people there.  We decided to visit two additional graves of people that were important in our lives and then we left.

Feeling grateful to be out of the house, we decided to take a drive across the river and made a loop around the mall.  There was minimal traffic and it was quite eery, almost post-apocalyptic, to see so few people and cars. I popped out of the car once, to grab this shot of the Capitol.
