We enjoyed a night out, how fab to feel a bit of normality again!

Mr A’s sister Laura reopened her coffee shop on Thursday; new and improved with a lovely courtyard seating area at the back, late opening (until 10pm) and a drinks licence. So far, they’ve been fully booked, which I’m sure is a relief after months of being closed.

We got there early, so sat out front with a coffee and cake, enjoying the last of the days sunshine.

The courtyard was lovely, with patio heaters and blankets for warmth. We ordered the deli boards; I had a ploughman’s and Mr A had the antipasti one but we shared a mixture of the two.

It was also nice to be able to catch up with Laura and Steve, so we will definitely arrange to go again :-)
