Starling

Regular Saturday morning walk at the Reservoirs in Milngavie and delighted to see my first House Martin of the year back from it’s winter holiday. When flitting about it was impossible to get a shot but it landed on the wall at one point so managed a not very good shot then (see extra).
There are a few starlings nesting in the roof of one of the buildings and the one in the main photo seemed to be on look out duty from a chimney pot.
