Fritillaria meleagris

An early morning visit (for me) at the Storängsudds Nature Reserve south east of Stockholm.  In a few days or a week, it will probably be covered with a huge number of blooming snake’s heads/chequered lilies.  In more than one aspect it was a bit too early today.
