Itchy feet (Day 2156)

Today has mostly been spent outside doing horse stuff.
After the morning woofer wander my beautiful wife and I headed to Stromness. I spent a little while doing a bit of wood butchery on the stable door, then we loaded George and Jeepers into the horse trailer and took them down to their summer grazing at the shore. They seem absolutely delighted to be on fresh, new grass. We returned to the yard to collect Red and move him to the new field.
Lunch at the Pier Bistro, then home to collect the woofers for a wander at Lyde.
A brief stop at home, then another trip to Stromness to fill the horse trailer with hoss stuff and move it to the field, and finally move the caravan we use as a tack room and feed store while we are at the shore. Moving the caravan is always a tiresome job. It is old and in poor condition, and winding the legs up and down is far more difficult and time consuming than it needs to be. Base camp is now established, and tomorrow HV can sort out all the stuff.
George proved how bendy he is reaching to scratch his itchy back foot. He wouldn't have managed that when he came to us.
