Waxing April moon

Taken with a 100-400 mm zoom (at 400 mm!) and heavily cropped, this image clearly shows the Mare Crisium close to the eastern horizon and below that Mare Fecunditatis. To the west of the latter, and almost joining it, lies the Mare Nectaris, bordered on its NW edge by three large and prominent craters just to the right of the terminator. Above these, and completing this clockwise loop back towards M. Crisium, the Mare Tranquilitatis, where Armstrong and Aldrin landed in 1969, is coming into view.
