Trying to find subjects which make the most of the super wide characteristics is a tough challenge. Here I tried to distort the shape of an old tree stump emphasizing the weathered saw marks and moss.

There was also an extreme 6-stop range to cope with, which I blended in Lightroom, but even so the adjustments required to balance the sky/land left some ugly halos around the trees. I will maybe try again in Photoshop.

To take the shot I was leaning forward, only using two legs of the tripod for balance, to avoid getting them or my shoes in the frame, so extreme is the angle of view with this lens. This also made acquiring focus a little dodgy.
