MonoMonday: Luminous

We got down to Exmouth in Devon late morning and had a stroll along the length of the prom to Orcombe Point where we stopped for a pasty and coffee before heading up the cliffs to the Geoneedle, which marks the westerly and oldest end of the Jurassic Coast.

It was good to see lots of families enjoying the beach (even though the Easter holidays are over) and everyone was being very sensible about distancing. We enjoyed an ice cream and sat on the beach for a while enjoyng this view across the mouth of the River Exe towards Dawlish Warren, which is where we are staying for the next few days in a lodge on a holiday park about half a mile inland from the beach on the coast over the water in the blip.

As you can see the light was sparkling suitably luminous on the water.

Having settled in, we spent half an hour or so the hot tub in the company of a bottle of Cava,by which time we were as chilled as the cava.
