Early bluebells

It was another lovely morning and I wasn't sure what to do so after discussion with a friend we decided to visit Blackbury Camp a hill fort that is well known for its extensive bluebell display.  We didn't anticipate the flowers being in full bloom yet but there were some early flowering ones coming and we spent some time photographing those.  After lunch we headed out for a walk in some nearby woods crossing a stream at the bottom.  These woods were also full of bluebell plants not yet in flower.

When I returned home I found a message from the doctors, I should get my 2nd covid vaccine tomorrow which is a little earlier than anticipated.
