When you have lived somewhere for a while it can be quite easy to miss the changes that are happening around you. Most notably I think an area is shaped by the facilities and shops that are part of the community, but it’s quite easy to miss the gradual moves on your local shopping street as one retailer is replaced with another over time. At some point in the first lockdown last year, Haart Estate Agents closed their Raynes Park branch and, gradually, it was cleared out. They continue to operate from other branches. I wonder if most of their business is conducted online? It’s a prime unit on the main shopping parade.
