Dead Tree

We did a walk today which included Bradfield Woods, in the care of Suffolk Wildlife Trust. Lots of wildflowers, including wood anemones, lesser celandine, violets, bluebells (a few) and OXLIPS - see extra photo for one of these and compare with cowslips a few days ago ie oxlips have flowers of a creamy colour with some darker yellow inside whereas the cowslips are darker overall (yellow-orange). The tree is labelled '11' but the leaflet about the wood doesn't give a list of numbers with an explanation!
