Two Landmarks

Beautiful day. Walked along the River Ant to How Hill (where the gardens were open) then completed the circuit by following tracks down to the River Bure, to the ruins of St Benet's Abbey & back along the permissive path on the bank to the campsite. The main photo shows the Abbey gatehouse which was repurposed as a mill & then as a drainage pump,  now derelict, while the house at How Hill (now a field study centre) is in the extra.
