Hebden

Another day in the Dales. This is Hebden (not to be confused with Hebden Bridge, which is also lovely, but nowhere near here). This is in Wharfedale, between Burnsall and Grassington, where Hebden Beck tumbles down into the river, about half a mile behind me, as I take this photo.

There is also a noteworthy bridge at Hebden, a pedestrian suspension bridge over the Wharfe, see 'extra'. It was built in 1885 by local blacksmith William Bell, and is now part of the Dales Way walking route.
