What is Afoot?

Whilst I was trying to study today, Mrs GOG went into the garden to take some blip pictures, mainly of flowers. Having made some coffee, I poked my head out to tell her and saw this poor little red flower, somewhat crushed. Using her camera to take its picture I was suddenly assisted by Dougal; foot in upper left corner.
