Steep Holme Island

On our coastal walk we could see another island in the Bristol Channel, this one is Steep Holme which I think is now owned by The Kenneth Allsop Memorial Trust. It was inhabited during Roman Times when they built a watchtower there. Now it is a site of special scientific interest with a large bird population and a large quantity of wild Peonies.
