Goldfinch

It was nice that it was bright enough to be able to sit out in the garden today. This meant I could get up ,close and personal with the garden birds with my maximum zoom setup (a 300mm lens with a doubler). I was particularly pleased with the background on this shots I thought the gentle sky blue accentuated the flamboyant colours of the goldfinch.
