Beam Me Up Scotty

I could write volumes about my very good day, very bad day but I won't. This "snapshot on the run" was part of the good stuff.

Taking Ron for a follow up medical appointment scheduled for this morning, this device greeted us as we entered the lobby with a robotic voice that said - "please place your hand in the ring". I did. The device then declared "temperature normal please enter".

I wondered if we had transported onto sickbay of the Starship Enterprise.

The doctor was pleased with Ron's progress and 15 minutes later we headed back to the shuttlebay car and headed home.
