Mmmm.... garlic

The single most unpromising corner of our garden is between our small shed, 3 compost bins and a wooden fence. Almost no sun, of course.  A few plants have self-seeded there, seeming to seek out the damp, shady conditions. Last year I cleared it out a bit and put in some wild garlic bulbs, thinking they might flourish there too. And yes: now there are small white stars brightening up the gloomy corner.  Maybe not quite enough to make wild garlic pesto, this year, but it's a start.

Thanks to everyone who left stars, hearts and comments for yesterday's gannet and kestrel. Much appreciated.  I will get round to proper replies bit by bit too.
