Emerging Apple Blossom

A day without a single cloud to clutter the blue sky above.

I spent much of the day reviewing the latest guidance for outdoor music events during Covid restrictions.  Much as we would all hope that events can go ahead soon, we still need more guidance to come out before event organisers can firm up on their plans.  This hasn't stopped a number of companies coming up with proposals. They've read the headlines saying outdoor events can go ahead in Step 3, without realising the limitations to a typical event that could have taken place before Covid.

I even did some of the research sitting in the garden and it was there I noticed that one of our two apple trees was justing beginning to show blossom.  I don't know if anyone else has come across an apple tree that only blossoms every other year?  This has again happened after being fruitless last year.  I do enjoy using focus stacking to isolate the detail of the leaves and blossom.  I'm now quite comfortable using the focus shift option on the camera to capture the individual frames, for subsequent stacking in Helicon Focus.
