Sea View And Chatter

Another wonderful sunny day and another trip to Kirkcaldy for a picnic and a walk.

We started from Ravenscraig Castle which is the subject of today’s Blipfoto. The Castle was closed, and it is very much a ruin.

We decided to walk from Ravenscraig and head east towards Dysart following the cliff edge of the shore.

Getting access to the shore is not easy. It is a very rocky beach and much of it is walled off.

However, after we had an enjoyed our picnic we did find one of several openings to the shore. (See extra).

The day was quite hot. Returning to the car the outside temperature was 22C and the car had been in the shade.

The area is very popular with dogs taking their owners for walks. The owners are as friendly as their dogs and we enjoyed several "socially distanced" chats.

People of all ages are happy to chat and it is interesting the range of topics that can be covered.

We all have time for each other and that is a good thing. Most people expressed a desire that life should not return to the mad rush that was prevalent before COVID.

Some of the dogs became a little impatient as they ran off and then returned to see what was keeping their owners.
