Catching Up With?

First thing is that I am catching up with my backlog of entries… 
Photos are taken on the day and text is in my mind, however time just disappears.

Today we had with Jane M. Pat and I have known Jane for several decades. We formed our friendship through Architecture and Design.

Today we met for lunch at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. Today’s entry is taken in the John Hope Gateway Building.

We caught up with each other’s news and enjoyed a tasty lunch. Of course, we looked around the gardens, as well.

We have arranged to meet again and will view the Nicola Benedetti portrait at the Portrait Gallery. Jane was a little disappointed with the picture.

Before lunch we had stopped at Costco to refuel and to purchase groceries.

The easiest way to get about in Edinburgh is to use the ring road rather than drive across the city centre. According to Apple Maps it may be twice the distance, but the time is less and the stress is completely avoided.
