What a week

Spent the week anticipating a declaration of a state of emergency for the area in which I live and work. Looks like it will start Sunday for a period of two or three weeks.

Mortality rates in Japan are startlingly low compared to other countries, despite the aging population. But any increase in infections is a bad thing.

Tough times ahead! The woofer of course is taking it all in his stride!
