Red Tailed Hawk

Early this morning I spotted this hawk at the top of our huge old oak tree.  Morning light was losing it's yellow glow, but it was still illuminating it nicely.  I had been planing to go out and try and get a shot of the male red winged blackbird, but this won out.  Focus and detail is much better large.
