Afterlight

A subtle pink glow settled over the distant trees after the sun had set, reflected in the lake surface. Too often it's easy to overlook these moments, I'm glad I had a reason to experience such a fleeting event. A few minutes later and the light was gone.

Another benefit of photographing in this light is that the image required hardly any processing.
