Wet Willow

A day of rain which kept me indoors all day, except for a short walk to take photographs, suitably equipped with a shopping bag to cover the camera and lens. Fortunately not windy so it wasn't blowing around.

Willows seem to be a reliable source of colour when nothing much is showing any signs of growth. Perhaps the rain will change that.

The image was rather flat initially, but with a bit of coaxing in Lightroom I increased the contrast. I wanted to show the yellow colour, yet keep the damp feeling. It was easy to go too far.
