Dipper on the river

Another lovely day.  I did some washing and got the first load on the rotary washing line.  As I pegged out the second load the line collapsed and the washing dropped on the soil below.  It would not go up again so F will look at it tomorrow as I couldn't see what the problem was.   There is washing drying on the patio table ( held on with tins of food) and pegged on various things around the garden.  

After that excitement we went for a walk along the River Ceiriog.  We saw two separate pairs of dippers, one of which is my blip. I love dippers! 

We also saw a male grey wagtail with very bright plumage, it's time to impress the ladies!
