A place in the sun

Returned to the wall-to-wall sunshine today, cloudless and just a very light breeze. I had my second vaccination this morning so walked down with the camera and took this picture of the old Parish Church in the sunshine. Crows were transporting nesting material up to the slots in the tower. The surgery is just next door and I didn't have to wait - straight in and straight out!

This was one of the few 'nice' pictures I took today. Even though both artistic in their own way (!) I decided to avoid using the ones of rubbish on Jacob's Ladder or the rusty Tesco trolley lying under the rippling water of the harbour. How can people be so stupid?

Popped down to water the foxgloves which we planted last week and had a long chat with the man whose tap we were using! He seemed very pleased with what Keep Oban Beautiful were doing.

More seed sowing this afternoon, working to the strains of the radio from fencing man working down the road. Selfish, some people!
