Give a Hoot

The Cuyahoga Soil & Water District sponsored this morning's litter cleanup at Euclid Creek Reservation.  Euclid Creek, like most waterways in this part of the state, flows into Lake Erie.  We were given maps, bags, and grabbers.  We brought our own gloves.  I used the Litterati AI app that photographs, identifies, and tracks trash picked up and amasses a worldwide database.

Euclid Creek was the first Cleveland Metropark that I visited as a child with my mom and older siblings.  I learned today that it was also the first reservation in the Emerald Necklace.   (That's an old, old link.  The park system has bought and converted much more parkland since then).

It's been an all-go day since early morning.  Hope you enjoy your weekend.  Thanks for visiting.
