A day of Remembrance

Today is ANZAC Day - Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. A day to commemorate all those who died and served in Military operations for their countries. A red poppy is a symbol of this Day of Remembrance.

Last year during lockdown a local farmer created this installation to remember soldiers in his family along with others who served for their countries. It's poignant to see this installation again.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condem
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
