Stratford

We met Emma, and baby bump, in Stratford this morning, both doing well.   We walked over to Cafe Nero and spent a nice time chatting, and drinking coffee.  Henley Street was quite busy, not quite as busy as during 'normal' times i.e. no large groups of foreign visitors, but more lively than during the height of lockdown.

After Emma left to visit a friend we took a walk to the river. Bancroft Gardens was very busy, though the various family groups on the grass were social distancing.  The Sunday Market was running, we avoided that.  We sat on a wall by the RSC and did some people, and bubble, watching.

Then back home for a spot of lunch and tennis, the final from Barcelona between Nadal and Tsitsipas.

The picture is of the rowing boats, back up and running.
