Another Pet Peeve

Adding to my list of peeves, here's one that really gets my goat.  This is an array of light switches and one ancient stereo system control in the guest bathroom of our terrace apartment here in Boston. 

Admire the consummate professionalism demonstrated by the electrician who installed these things.  Marvel at how carefully he made sure that none of them are level either vertically or horizontally.  You really have to go out of your way to make such a hash of what should be a straightforward job.
