Craiglockhart Pond swans

Have really struggled to escape the computer much at all today - bit of a contrast to yesterday's wonderful freedoms ...

... anyhow, we did get out for a short walk in the late afternoon, and made it along to Craiglockhart Pond where the resident swans have now laid around 8-eggs. You can just make out the female swan in this snap (taken on the edge of the pond), with the large nest sitting behind her.

A few more weeks and there should hopefully be a significant number of cygnets keeping her company :-)
