Oregon landscape

I often envy the gorgeous landscapes I see from the UK and New Zealand. I'm back to writing, so I won't be commenting much, but before starting the work of the day, I went out to Sauvie Island for a little quiet and connection with nature at Sturgeon Lake. It was a glorious morning, partly sunny and cool. That white hump in the background behind the grasses is Mt. St. Helens (the volcano that blew up in 1980).
