Tadpoles

It is many years since I have seen tadpoles. We used to have them as children at home to see them turn into frogs. Many did not due to being lifted from their natural environment! But we were not so environmentally savvy then.

This was a stagnant pool up in Rathgorrah in Wicklow where my ancestors are from originally. Many descendants from them now live in New Zealand and Australia. My great Grandmother stayed and was the second wife of my widower great Grandfather.

I am immersing myself in my family history while I am off work and these tadpoles mirror the numbers of people I am now dealing with far and wide!
