The River Clyde flows from Leadhills in the south of Scotland all the way to the sea and through the city of Glasgow.  It was a powerhouse of shipbuilding in the 20th century, but is now a quiet river with no sounds of the industry that once was.

In the Clyde Valley it is a very peaceful river, meandering through the valley, and has pathways along it for a very pleasant walk.
