I am on annual leave now...yay. I quite like two day working weeks lol. A walk before breakfast, a bit of shopping as I had an empty fridge and then a bit of baking before a little walk with Pat.

I found a recipe for scones that had a squirt of lemon juice in warm milk. It was supposed to be like buttermilk. I was sceptical, but I have to say they were damn good, not perfect, but good. I’m glad I had a practise as I want to get them right for Saturday when the girls are round for a little party in the garden.

Oh well, a couple more hours and I’ll be a year older :(
