Margaret River area WA

It was our first rainy day of the trip so we jumped in the Jeep to catch some wild surf and seascapes. Just when we think one beach is unbeatable we find an even more jaw droppingly sensational spot. 
Margaret River beaches are the home of many of the best pro surfers here in Australia.
Yallingup where this surf sculpture is located means “place of love”
The area also is the epicentre of the wine industry.
We certainly had a lot of fun proving the theory that the region deserves its claim to fame.
The rock formation shows some banding of gneiss a metamorphic rock through the granite.
