Cornflowers/Centaurea cyanus

My cornflowers are out now - looking lovely in their small patch.
If you look closely you can see the ants on the buds; they seem to 'farm' them - doesn't appear to be much 'nectar' as it has been so very hot.
I was out briefly this morning and it poured with rain en route home.... first time the windscreen wipers had been used in quite some time - and they were rotten so I had to pop into a local store for new ones! Ouch....
