Our first iris this year

It's not going to be the best year for our irises as the late frosts have stunted their growth. The buds are not filling out but I expect there will be smaller, weaker flowers.

A quiet day and weekend. We have a rather stressful week ahead. Jack is having a knee replacement op on Tuesday. We both hope it means he can walk without the pain that he has had since last July. He will have a lot of physio afterwards to strengthen all the working parts of the knee.

I'm not keeping up very well with responding to your journals but will catch up soon.
