Oil Seed Rape and White Rabbit.

It is the time of the year for fields of brilliant yellow crops. The pollen is plentiful, attractive to bees and leaves a yellow dust everywhere.

I think that the nearest field is about half a mile away and is just starting to flower. I was mildly surprised to come across one plant flowering well in the garden this morning.

It is today’s Blipfoto. There were a couple of Bees harvesting the pollen. They scarpered as soon as they saw the camera.

The extra is of a White Rabbit. Appropriate for the 1st of the month.

The white rabbit is a picture frame with a photograph of Cash and his cousin. It is in the yellow room that Pat carries out her many sewing projects.

The rabbit is sitting on top of a vintage ironing board which pulls out from this wall mounted case. Also easily put away.

Pat bought it in an antiques shop in Ullapool about 20 years ago. It had been rescued from a cotter house which was about to be reconstructed.
